VOLUNTEERING

Bunker Park Stable has a wonderful and rewarding volunteer program!  Our volunteers learn job skills, develop great friendships, have advancement opportunities, countless learning opportunities, and best of all get to work with a wonderful herd of horses on a daily basis!  Volunteers must commit to volunteering a minimum of 15 hours per month to maintain volunteer status.  All applicants must be at least 15 years old and must be actively involved in our lesson program (minimum of 8 lessons and a proficiency test ride before applying to the program).  Just because a person meets the requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.  Applicants must be hard working, self motivated, show initiative, and follow instruction well.  An application can be obtained at our office.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMMING!

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers to participate in our special needs programming.  This is separate from the Volunteer Program listed above and you do not need to be involved in the lesson program.  You don't need to know anything about horses or people living with disabilities to be part of our team - we will train you!
