Mother & Daughter Afternoon of Horses

Join us for a fabulous afternoon with horses just for Moms and Daughters! Enjoy some quality girl time grooming, saddling and riding our gentle, well-trained horses. Our qualified instructors will walk you through horse safety and saddling, and then spend time in the arena before heading out on trail (weather permitting). The day is sure to be full of memories!

Riders must be at least 8 yrs old.

Registrations with non-refundable deposits must be received by May 1st. Cost: $65.00

Please understand that this event is not designed for riders with special needs.

Senior Equestrian Getaway

Is riding a horse on your bucket list? Has it been a while since you've had an opportunity to spend time with a horse? Would you like to enjoy a bit more hands-on than just a trail ride? Then come on out and join us for a few hours with horses. We love horses and enjoy sharing our knowledge with others. We believe it's never too late to learn and our instructors are ready to help you get your horse ready and go for a ride. Our horses have lots of experience and will take you safely out on the walk-only trail - come enjoy a lovely spring day!

We will cover instinctual behaviors, horse care, grooming, saddle fitting, bridling, communication, rhythm skills, relaxation techniques and equipment care. Approximately half the time will be spent on horseback and half in an interactive instructional setting.

Seniors (60+) of all experience levels are welcome!
(If you're close to that age and coming with other seniors, you're welcome, too.)

Women's Equestrian Getaway

Join us for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to enjoy a group experience focusing on the unique relationship women can have with horses. We’re passionate equestrians who enjoy sharing our love for and knowledge of horses with others. Whether you’re 18 or 68, we believe it’s never too late to enter into the world of horses. Our instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, eager to answer any questions you have.  

We will cover instinctual behaviors, horse care, grooming, saddle fitting, bridling, communication, rhythm skills, relaxation techniques and equipment care. Approximately half the time will be spent on horseback and half in an interactive instructional setting.  

The Getaway begins at 1:00 and concludes at 4:00 PM. We welcome you to stay and chat with your instructors and fellow riders for as long as you wish. Women (age 18+) of all experience levels are welcome. Registrations must be received two weeks in advance with full payment. Cost: $65.00
